「Take me out to the ball game」一起去看球吧

今天看了各家媒體對王建民的報導，看起來大家對他都是極為讚賞，當然囉以他前天的表現是值得大夥大書特書的。

王建民以菜鳥之姿，硬是在美國大聯盟最具代表性的洋基隊取得勝投，並幫助球隊締造四連勝，除了像托瑞總教練般的拍手外，我還真想也去拍拍他肩膀呢！

不過美國的球賽其實內含許多值得探討的事，但可惜了媒體沒有版面可以提出討論。

像當天王建民在第一局的投球，看的出來教練團對他是深具信心的，甚至賦予他自己配球的權利，所以我們可以在轉播時看到，王建民會對捕手的配球搖頭，而選擇自己有把握的球路，有一球甚至搖頭了三四次。

不過，當安打、保送、失分相繼出現後，從第二局起也就明顯看的出來教練團已經收回王建民自行配球的權利了，反而改為大聯盟少見的由投手教練在休息室下達配球指令，再藉由捕手傳達給投手，教練團反應之快實在值得國內學習。

但就在洋基打者幫王建民打回追平分後，王建民已經不再緊繃神經了，而教練團也再度授權投捕自行配球，節奏明顯又順暢許多，之後的狀況，就跟各家媒體描述的一樣囉，都是一個字啦──讚！

還有一件值得一提的是轉播單位的用心!

六局上當王建民遇到小小亂流的時候，水手隊打者Bret Boone擊出一個二壘後方的球，游擊手吉特橫移接到球後反手小拋給二壘手，雖然是safe，但守備動作還真是棒。

之後不到三分鐘（真的不誇張），轉播單位馬上調出2001年美聯冠軍賽第三場時，吉特另一次精采的反手小拋球，是右外野深遠安打回傳，中間經過一個轉傳回本壘要阻擋跑者得分，眼看球無法直接傳進本壘，畫面突然出現游擊手吉特的身影，再截住傳球後反手小拋給捕手完成刺殺動作。這回更啞口無言！

但我驚訝的是轉播單位動作之迅速，雖然這在美國稀鬆平常，但還是給我一大震撼，緯來加油囉！

接著第七局上結束後的「伸懶腰時間」，現場球迷都起立唱著God bless America，這其實是911之後增加的歌曲，911發生之前唱的都只有「Take me out to the ball game」。

這首歌是1908年由Jack Norworth在電車裏寫下的歌詞，譜曲的是Albert Von Tilzer，有趣的是這人從來沒有進場看過球賽，卻寫下廣為流傳且雋永的歌曲，兩人都是當時的音樂名人！我覺得吊詭的是，當初是誰開始在球場上又挑在七局上半結束時吆喝大家一起唱這首歌的，想想如果是你在球場上要大家跟你一起唱歌，這不是一件很愚蠢的事嗎？愚蠢的事一定要有點瘋狂的人才做的出來，不過也就是有這些瘋狂且愚蠢的人，我們在日後才有這麼有趣的享受啊，謝謝他們囉！

建議你聽聽最早期的Edward Meeker的歌聲，還有留聲機出來的味道，此外也可以聽聽Kings Curtis的薩克斯風演奏，風味完全不同，享受一下囉！

  1. 說到轉播的神奇，我想到的是自從珍奶事件後，
    每個大型現場轉播都會規定延遲個5秒，
    以應付同樣的事發生，5秒耶！
    5秒就可做出反應，那時就真的覺得太神奇啦~~

    另外，Take me out to the ball game這首歌
    沒記錯的話，在EA出的大聯盟系列遊戲
    還可以聽到這首歌喔！

    5秒ㄟ,我覺得給我5秒我只能下決定停播或繼續播,如果珍奶事件讓我判斷,我只能選擇繼續播,造福大家囉.至於道德就放兩旁了!
    你真是網路通咧,什麼大大小小事都了解,記得以後有新的知識或訊息,別忘通知我這老頭子,讓我不至跟社會脫節太久,謝啦!
